They are the same controls that the '08 iPod touch and the '08 Nano can use already. The iPhone can currently only use the center click feature, not the volume controls.
Seems like a really nice system. I would prefer a better connector on the power brick and internal bluetooth with a standard bluetooth mouse/keyboard instead of the odd setup included. Other than that I would really consider buying one because of the seemingly very nice build quality of the system and its internals (and its HPs fault if the watercooling fails and drowns all the expensive components!)

Looks like quite a large bezel to me, its just that the glass extends over the bezel and to the edge of the lid.
Maybe this stuff should be assembled into a static monument / statue of some sort.

I'm guessing that the 'promotional' part is the green controller, and that the new D-pad design wills migrate to all controllers.
Wow, a laptop with something other than just a trackpad! It's amazing! And it looks like it may just have gotten away with not having a glossy screen as well!
That drive is sold as a complete 3.5" unit because of the attached heatsink. This is a stand-alone 2.5" version without the heatsink for use in servers.
I'd imagine that the high bandwidth is to allow many users to share the connection, not so that a few people can have super fast downloads.
