You realise that the current Sony players are amongst the best on the market? Sounding better than iPods, looking better than iPods, and having better format support than iPods...

Anyone put a killo wat on one? Interesting to know how little power it draws.. (latest 65nm/65nm PS3's are 110w).
This will kill the Wii. Developers already have little reason to develop for Wii, with the horrible attach rates (the console should just be called Wii Sports, and be done with it), now there will be rampant piracy too..
Does it still sound shite, like every iPod ever made?

Anyone that loves music, does not buy Ipod, everyone knows that.
Hmm, arn't the other 2 consoles already doing this? I thought Microsoft never copies anyone? In the space of a few weeks, they copy Wii/PS3 motion controllers, the copy Nintendo Miis, they copy Apple's Coverflow...
XBox owners getting gouged for more money... LOL. A fool and his money.....
The PS3 already has a pretty smart upscaler. I would love to see a side by side comparision of this Toshiba, and the PS3. I suspect the PS3 will be on-par, with of course the ability to play proper HD.
Slow news day, or pathetic editor?

Arn't you embarrassed about your constant PS3 hating by now?
"isn't nearly as expensive or sophisticated as the PlayStation."

he forgot Cool and Reliable in there too..
There is everything to worry about. It turns out the 60GB is still Falcon based, and Falcons are still faulty.

Save your cash, wait for Jasper, or buy a PS3.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
