How'd my comment get down here? That was meant to be @Rich.
Or... £200 and no contract (£150 if you go the eBay way). Doesn't seem so unreasonable now, especially considering how much the specs outclass the DS, eh? With all the puffing and blowing about the iPhone, everyone seems to forget the Touch is exactly the same machine sans the phone bits.

I agree on the lack of physical buttons being annoying, but there's plenty of things you could do to get around that problem - just look at Ninja Gaiden DS, for example.
Apologies to the random John for forgetting to activate my previous comment.
The bit we haven't seen before, that is.
Except it's done with an iSight.
Because what Jonny's being doing, while quite cool, isn't anything revolutionary. In fact, I'd be amazed if Nintedo R&D haven't already played with stuff similar to what he's been doing.

Head tracking's cool (especially when done using a normal camera without the silly glasses, like MS & Sony have already demonstrated IIRC) but will suck for multiplayer until 3D/multiple view displays are commonplace (when it essentially becomes a necessity).
Haven't they had these since the 70's or something?
Have they sorted out the power issues in standby yet though?
True, the last line complains about Apple keeping their prices artificially high.
Zak, I think you're missing GregA's point. I don't think he's riled at Apple, but at people who talk like Apple invented these concepts when all they did was design good interfaces for them.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am trying to configure out a really dumbed down and intuitive PC for my grandmother. She recently had a stroke and while she is under my care I would like to repurpose a laptop for her to surf and email her children. Anyone have any experience with what input devices and UI's are really understandable for the over 80 crowd?"
