How about Metroid Hunters, Mario Kart, Zelda - Phantom Hourglass, Monkey Ball, Guitar Hero, should I go on?
My Navigon GPS has traffic/construction updates and will automatically route around them, plus speed limit warnings, all for $400 less with no monthly fee. Other than the Google link, every technology mentioned in the article is pretty mainstream. What's the big deal?
No offense, but it sounds like you're really lazy then.
So with this homebrew stuff going around, would a DVD player be possible? That would make so much sense!
This is such a spectacular waste of money. You can get a brand new Honda motor scooter for that money, and then you have a much more powerful and reliable means of transportation. Like Jason said, the bike components are crap, you're really paying $3,000 for an electric motor and a battery. Granted, 1000 Watts isn't shabby for an electric scooter, but keep in mind that's only 1.34 horsepower!
This puts new meaning to the term "hardware". Not many people can measure their computer in tons.
I don't know, a PC laptop video card might be possible for gaming. Of course, if you really want hard-core gaming, you should just by a gaming PC/laptop, or build in. I see this unit as great for people with laptops as well, although mine already has DVI out.
I've been incredibly impressed with my Navigon GPS system. It's a newer German brand, and it has a more features than the TomTom or Garmin in its price range. I have a Navigon 2100, and it's spectacular. It comes with free traffic updates for life, gets great signal lock, and has an innovative 3-D map display that shows overpass and exit signs, so you stay in the correct lane on those complicated interchanges. Since its a European company, SD card maps for all of Europe are readily available. I got mine on sale for $100.

This is awesome!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"For a long time I have been searching for a portable device where I can store all of my CDs in MP3 format and stream the songs wirelessly to my HiFi system. The portable device must I've tried FM transmitters, they all suck. I don't want a docking station. Any help? Thanks!" have a display so that I easily can scroll through the playlists (I don't want to use a TV or monitor). I suppose that there must also be a second device that is connected to the HiFi system that would receive the wireless streams from the portable device.
