@Munk A lot of the larges cases on the market right now are up in the +50 lbs range. Take the Corsair 800D, the thing is huge, but I love it. So much room to work with.

If yo want to see just how big it is, check out my build log:

@Average White Boy - Not sure where you came up with the idea that HTC is losing market share.

HTC’s 2008 performance was based on the sale of 12.03 million devices. Given that only around 1 million Android devices were sold in 2008, this would imply HTC sold more than 10,000,000 Windows Mobile devices last year.

Since they are a publicly traded company this information can be easily obtained directly from their website, under "Investor Relations".

They also reported a 2% GAIN in market share from Q32008 to Q32009. Maybe you have a difficult time interpreting company financials, but you really should try reading up on the facts before you post inaccurate information.

No thanks. That thing is tiny compared to other desktop mice. I played with this so called "Magic Mouse" at the Apple Display in a Best Buy, and came to the conclusion that this thing is made for women, or guys with small hands.

Plus the way the mouse worked as a whole just bugged me and I left unimpressed. I think I will stick with my Logitech Performance MX Mouse and its "Hyper" Scroll wheel.
After seeing Josh actually try and use the Magic Mouse, the implementation of Muliti-touch seems more like a gimic than a user friendly feature. The idea is "neat" but I personally don't see it as very practical. The gestures seem to be a bit uncomfortable, and add a level of complication that doesn't need to be there.

Then again, I hate Apple's attempt to remove buttons from everything, so maybe their products just aren't for me. I will stay with my multi-button / super scroll wheel Logitech Performance MX mouse thank you.
Just watch the Apple demo video (Apples Site crashed my FireFox Browser on the first attempt), and I have to say, I'm really not impressed with this new mouse. The stylus is still useful for certain applications. Some games require better accuracy than can be achieved using your finger alone.

I also occasionally create and/or modify Excel spreadsheets for various tasks on my HTC Fuze (Touch Pro). Although you could get away with just using your finger and zooming in to tap on a cell, it is much faster to just whip out the stylus and get to work. I know that many people will never use Excel on a smartphone, but for those of us that do (my profession has turned me into an Excel Junkie), a stylus is a great tool.
Speak for yourself. I have had the Fuze since its launch, at it has been a great phone. Using a custom Windows Phone 6.5 ROM by NATF, runs great and I like the fact that you can fully customize the look and functionality of the phone using software like PointUI or SBP Mobile Shell 3.

I am not a fan of a glorified app launcher for my home screen, so the ability to customize the UI is important for me.One of my friends bought the phone the same time as me, and his experience has been similar. I also prefer a hardware keyboard as I use my phone for emails more than my work computer since I am out of the office meeting with clients most of the day.

If you were having some many problems with the Fuze, it was either because you had a lemon and should have switched it out, or it was user error.
Those that are complaining here don't have an understanding of how phone pricing works in relation to carrier contracts. $800 is the unsubsidized price (aka purchased without a contract), and is on par with other devices in this category.

The Palm Pre will be selling for $850 unsubsidized.

I really like HP notebooks.... but I would like a free one even more.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
