It looks like if you buy "The Shadow Odyssey" and have never played before it gives you 30 days free play as a new subscriber...
Just checked the UK store and "Rise of Kunark starter pack" is £1.99 (thats around $3.20), no excuse at all not to try it. I was wondering if there is any point of buying The Shadow Odyssey now or would it be better just to wait and buy it if needed...
I've been hit twice in 2 weeks, first time it was "mild" losing just my cash and a mini pet (which meant a lot to me but didn't set my characters back). I get the feeling the second time, where they've hacked my Nc soft account not just my gw account, will be a LOT worse.
Looks like I'm MASSIVELY in the minority here but I honestly couldn't care what my character looks like, I usually hit the random button a few times and then leave it. Ocasionally I put a bit more effort in but at the end of the day I'm not particularly bothered.
Thirded, I've still got loads of the higher end content to get through in GW and that doesn't even include working on some of my alts.
DDO the whole way, especially after getting into a weekly group, although I still find it enjoyable to just hop in and kill a few things occasionally.
I've played it and it is just bad, gave it a couple of hours of my life and will never play it again.
I know someone else who had that problem, it turned out to be something to do with their ISP and they just had to use another net connection to register. After that all was fine.
Considering what they recently did in GW1 with the paid character changes (gender, appearance, name), the whole "make is easy to change server" thing just seems like an obvious way for them to charge and make more money :( I hope they prove me wrong but it would not suprise me.
Well since my version of the game got corrupted by a rogue update I've not been able to play and having a capped internet connection now (2gb!) I can't even redownload the client :(
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
