Interesting ploy...I'm with Phoenix.

"...no monthly fees? Sure..we will cater to your pocket book! ...oh! You ACTUALLY want to track it? That's going to cost you..please place your leg on the table...".

You see this all over the place. You'll pay a minimal fee to get into the game, but once you're in, you're paying so many individual fees (NOT monthly) and confused by them that it makes trying to solve Maxwell's Equations in 3 dimensions seem like 2nd grade Math.

No thanks.

peek a boo! I want one!
Exaaaactly!

That's where Nokia rules and Apple well...need it be said?

Apple released the phonePod in a hurry just to beat all the others and will now be trying to play catch up on fixing all the bugs, issues, features that everyone has had for ages and will have them when they release their version of a touch screen device.

I really wish that the screen were a capacitive rather than pressure though....sigh...oh well, I'm sure I'll still like it.

And with Symbian, no need to wait for mail services, Slingbox, Flash, stereo BT, tethering out of the box, great browser and oh yeah...reliable (not to mention FASTER) data through HSPA!!!

I really hope that Apple does fall to one of the lawsuits about their hardware...I'm still siding with the whole 3G issues being related to bad hardware and hope that Apple quits trying to fix the issues with a bunch of patches...
Maaaan! And I was looking forward to getting rid of my phonePod!

Yes, while this may not be an iPhone killer, I have always LOVED Nokia hardware and still to this day love my now "ancient" 6680 that runs S60. Maybe a little slow, yes, but I'd much rather have great hardware and slightly slow OS that is more stable than anything that has been out in the market for years....than to continue with an iPhone that has now released four updates in 3 months and STILL trying to fix issues that have been existent since day 1.
I'm personally waiting on the Experia....

I'm just also afraid that since it IS an HTC device, that it STILL won't have the drivers included...regardless of the panel interface that SE has.

All I can do is sit and wait...impatiently...
Oodles of sexy....does it do hardware video acceleration? :)
So...since you're a QC employee...

6.1 MIGHT be an improvement, but it did NOTHING for the video drivers on the Tilt/Kaiser/TyTNII....so....

Winblows 6.1 or 7...still nothing w/o the proper drivers.
Well, this just affirms that they will indeed NOT fix our driver issues (or lack of drivers anyway). So HTC can just kiss my future buh-bye!!!

Unfortunately, while I anxiously await to see what the Xperia does bring. I have been told by more than one person that the SE Xperia is actually an HTC product!!!!! What the?!?!

So now I hang in limbo...not knowing what to do or what to get. A SE K850i is looking promising and I hate to say this, but a 3G iPhone is too.
@Magallanes...

While I somewhat agree with Formula1 being one of the most technologically advanced (if not THE) sports, I must agree with the FIA and disallowing any drive assist technology.

While there must be some technology in the development of the engines, transmission, brakes, the sport was initially and should truly remain a sport of the driver. So by making the driver more responsible for control of the car (particularly during take off with the loss of launch control), I have actually enjoyed things more. It's putting things BACK on the driver and still making it an enjoyable sport...

That's my two cents anyway...

And M.Schumacher is still the best damn driver....and Ferrari, the best damn engine out there too! (another two cents...hehe)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
