You know what is pretentious? this =/= bullshit.
The SNES was indeed the greatest console ever produced.
@Jakka

"let's leave SMG and WiiFit out of this due to my lack of experience with these".

This sentence renders your entire argument ridiculous. We're talking about a most innovative game of the year award and you're already discounting the competition because you haven't played them?

You better make a habit of keeping Edge informed of your gaming purchases so that they can be sure they don't accidentally give the award to a game you've deemed ineligible.
Has Sonic ever really been all that good? I was always more of a Nintendo man during the 8/16 bit gens but I always owned the Sega consoles and can honestly say that I thought Sonic was never anywhere near the quality of the Mario games. Sonic was always about the graphics and the style, it's never had much in the way of depth. It's an old argument though and not one that's likely to be resolved now.
LOOOOOOOOOOOLLLL

Best Duplicate post I've read all day!!!!

@B, Yeah I realise that and agree with you completely. My comment was directed at Snowblind since he apparently believed Perfect Dark to be a Bond game.
Actually the original was 4-player, as you can see from the box.
Perfect Dark isn't a Bond game.
Yeah seriously, Goldeneye is a game so good every gamer should be able to play it. Just put it on every available format and let the fanboys be united as we bask in it's almost ridiculous amount of Bond flavoured awesomeness.
If these are the kind of decisions the producers of this game are making, I'm just gonna say it right now: Saint's Row 2 is complete shit.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
