Feb 4th 2009 11:13AM So, calling is 'San Fran' means to you that those people come across as out of touch squares...
I wonder what people from SF come across as to everyone else in the nation...

Jan 26th 2009 11:45PM you must not use it that much because it already does that for me without the update.
Surprise, Mac users! Pirated iWork download contains a trojan {Download Squad}
Jan 22nd 2009 10:12PM keep in the mind... the only reason this works is because the user acknowledges and gives permission via password authentication that this installer can have read/write access to install iWork and the Trojan... otherwise, it's DOA just like anything else they try to sneak into a Mac.

Jan 12th 2009 8:58AM We don't need Windows. I only use it for Steam Games and the Call of Duty series. There is zero productivity value for me in using Windows. The reason I installed the beta was to finally get a 64-bit OS on there and use all my RAM. But wait, OS X already does that.
The devil is in the details, I suppose. Your comment was clever, but it just doesn't travel very far.

Dec 17th 2008 11:19AM My late 2007 black MacBook installed the update, restarted and I logged in. It crashed and I restarted. Now it won't go past the greyscreen Apple logo and panics.
It says all the usual stuff and then: "Mac OS Version: not yet set."
Any suggesstions on how to fix besides reinstall the OS?
Mac OS X 10.5.6 is available via Software Update {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}
Dec 15th 2008 1:17PM that has been like that, i believe. I'm on a late 2008 MBP 15" and those options are not present.
At least on the late 2008 it makes sense because to change those settings would require log-out to swap GPUs.
so maybe it is new if it's on older or non-MBP Macs.
