This is a shame. It was such a great way to play Scrabble remotely. Stuff like this is good for kids, it builds vocabulary, keeps them off the streets and away from gang-related criminal activities (and instead opens the world of internet fraud to them!).
This article/these pictures have me itching to take an Aston Martin on a test drive... so sleek and old-school James Bond. Gorgeous!
BooksOnBoard is giving away a Cybook! All you have to do is subscribe to their RSS Feed (http://www.booksonboard.com/rss/bob_rss.xml) and follow the clues. Here is a flyer with more info: http://i239.photobucket.com/albums/ff110/sukmisra/BreakingDawnFlyer.jpg. I thought this was pretty cool!
Wow! That is gorgeous... it looks like one of the old Ferraris (I don't remember which, but they have ebooks about it at BooksOnBoard: http://www.booksonboard.com/index.php?BODY=viewbook&BOOK=31446)
Hahaha... the helicopter is going to get me! We've come a long way since 3 d holographic imagery (link to ebooks and audiobooks version)... are we going to have to wear 3d glasses to make this work?
The Cybook is getting better too... I know that BooksOnBoard is currently carrying the new edition of the Cybook at a good price (http://www.booksonboard.com/index.php?BODY=viewproduct&PRODUCT=5). The new edition has some features like event buffering that make reading on the Cybook an even more pleasant experience (and it was great to begin with!).
I've finally decided to get a Cybook... the only problem is they're always sold out! It looks like BooksOnBoard has the new edition of the Cybook (http://www.booksonboard.com/index.php?BODY=viewproduct&PRODUCT=5). They have an accidental damage plan that I'm trying to decide whether I need or not. Does anyone know how fragile these are? I'm fairly clumsy...
My only gripe with the Cybook is they're ALWAYS sold out. It looks like BooksOnBoard has the new edition of the Cybook in stock finally... does anyone know if the new firmware supports a hierarchical library listing?
Hulk will tear them apart for whatever they do to Nick... I skimmed through his book, Hollywood Hulk Hogan ebooks version... he's not as crazy as he was, but he's still pretty fierce...
This looks awesome!!! I built my gaming PC (I used this book, it was extremely helpful: http://www.booksonboard.com/index.php?BODY=viewbook&BOOK=174863&v=synopsis), but it's a desktop, a huge clunky thing. This laptop does look really sleek (I think). Any word about the price?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
