Must be nice to find out you may lose your job on the first day of the new year. Great job Asus management and kudos DigiTimes.
Right, because financial analysts have never been wrong. Sigh...
AT&T shouldn't even be allowed to sue Verizon on the legal grounds that this commercial totally kicked some serious A.
well since your vote no longer counts why not just choose not to upgrade your iphone? i myself am going back to soup cans an' a whole mess'a string...
Augmented reality OR Schizophrenia for the rest of us?
I agree. Wouldn't it be FANTASTIC though if Zune HD, which is bring games and apps soon, could make phone calls and handle e-mail on a telephony stack?
One of the best parts of the iPhone is the single hardware button (aside from volume and power). I've tried to switch over to the myTouch 3G but after 2 years of one button goodness the myTouch had to go back. webOS though is one pretty OS though.

It is one gorgeous OS though. Just fix some of the battery issues and bring it to some other carriers!
I really, really want to like the Pre. Just taking a look at some of those screen grabs I'm seeing few bars of reception. Obviously this doesn't mean much except the person snapping pictures was in a dead zone AND then I'm reminded of just how bad Sprint was just a short time ago.

Palm, help us out here... how about getting some of that webOS goodness onto other carriers? Or open up the Pre to GSM networks? Please?
here's hoping that some of the XBLA titles can make their way onto this thing!!!
Why won't Microsoft turn this bad boy into a phone? I'd bet my dentures that a 2nd generation Zune HD makes its way into the 4G domain.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
