Remind me again why the Palm Pre might face legal problems from Apple as opposed to something like this?
Both videos I've seen, the guy seems like he's having trouble getting touch response from the screen. Especially in the top right corner when switching from time to calendar etc. Now I know resistive vs capacitive each have their own pros/cons but I think this phone would be a lot better if it had the sensitivity of capacitive.

yes just like 1gb was more than enough for the average user at some point.
While I agree with you Ike, you gota keep in mind there's countless WM devices on all sorts of carriers and handsets.
Dignan17, you can just manually update. Google usually adds it to the android tree available for download. My guess is it'll be up there before T-Mobile pushes it OTA.
There's an app on the market called Task Manager that will let you kill processes but requires root access. The GUI has greatly improved since it released 2 days ago. I've read Android is smart enough to kill processes as needed on it's own but I'm a control freak and like to kill processes myself.
Since when has midi become bar mitzvah wedding reception bullshit?

Fact is traktor scratch pro is growing more popular now, outselling any other dj software, and lets you do a lot more than the conventional tables/cdjs.

You get 4 simultaneous inputs + you can use control cds or vinyl (tables/cdjs) + midi support. Yes, meaning that your wedding reception bullshit contraption pictured above has plenty of knobs, sliders, and buttons to be a nice midi addition to traktor.

Oh even Serato has announced a partnership with Ableton Live to FINALLY support midi input.

Yes agreed.

But same can be said about the Nintendo with the Wii. They spend a bunch of money on marketing but doesn't change the fact that they are making a profit on each hardware sold because of production costs being low.

I see what you mean, but I believe marketing comes out of a whole different budget.
http://www.techspot.com/news/30642-isuppli-3g-iphone-costs-apple-173-to-make.html

Assembly is reported $9 per unit.

Why would Apple sell hardware at a loss instead of profit?
iSuppli has the 3G iphone at $173 to make. And the 2G iphone at $226.

$800+++? What are you talking about guy?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
