I was 7th in the queue for Regent Street, and that photo was taken before i arrived at 5:40am. At 7am they brought about 40 people into the store and the rest had to wait outside, yes it wasn't as busy as the first iPhone or the 3G, but it was considerably busier than that photo points out, and WAY more busier than the Nokia store across the road. They started selling to us at around 7:50 and they ate up the queue really quickly, loads of employees selling the phones.
Screw O2. We signed up for Unlimited Data (with a Fair Usage policy attached fair enough). What the hell is the difference between 1GB of data through mobile Safari and Firefox!? They're full of sh*t. Everyone should just use it anyway, there's no way in hell they're going to disconnect/charge loads of customers, think of the uproar!? I'm going to call OFCOM 0300 123 3333 (and everyone else should do the same in the UK), and protest about this cr*p.
This would be lush with an ipod!
For once the UK gets a better deal than the USA! So getting a 16GB upgrade come July 11th!
My money's on a world-wide launch fri june 27th
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I love my little computing companion but I often find myself missing a full sized keyboard. I have been looking at several of these portable and flexible keyboards, but I can't seem to make up my mind about which I should buy. I don't want the keyboard to be overly expensive, but I want it to be good quality. Also, how difficult is it to type on these keyboards? Thanks!"
