Like clevin said, Sprint's everything data plan is the best in the market right now. If you get an employer's discount, the price drops even lower. My wife and I have two phones and we are paying $100 total. That's less than what Verizon or AT&T charges for one phone with comparable features.
My Tether on Palm Pre. Done.
Can't wait for this to hit Palm WebOS in a few months.
And maybe advertising revenue would go up if they didn't keep trying to block Hulu from being used in Boxee, Game consoles, etc...

Hulu gained its notoriety by being a "new" way to watch TV but then the suits stepped in and have been trying to ruin that reputation by any means possible. If they decide to start charging for access, it will be defeat snatched from the jaws of victory.
My latest Netflix envelope had a coupon for $50 off this player good through the rest of the week.
I switched on Sunday after being a VZW customer for 6 years. Got 2 Palm Pres with the Everything Data plan and pay less than what I was paying for two dumb-phones with unlimited texting on Verizon (Not to mention free roaming on Verizon's network so it's the same coverage). Very happy with the switch.
Palm needs to write a program that works with their current backup service that can read iTunes XML data and sync your desired music and photos via the cloud in the background. It is called WebOS, afterall.
+1 for the Billy Madison reference.
The Palm Pre is the way to go based on value and features. You get free roaming on Verizon's network (as long as you don't abuse it) so you basically get the same coverage for a much lower price. My wife and I got two Pres and pay less now than what we were paying for two dumb-phones with a texting plan on Verizon. We couldn't be happier.
move along...nothing to see here... (It's back up with no new iMacs).
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm pretty much a complete noob when it comes to camera stuff. My wife loves to take pictures, though. So much so that she literally wore out her first point and shoot camera, and the Kodak Z712 I bought for her less than two years ago is starting to act up as well. To compound the matter, we are expecting our first born sometime next year. I fear the Kodak just isn't going to cut it any longer. What would be the best starter DSLR to get? She hates missing photo opportunities due to camera 'lag' so speed would definitely be at the top of the list. Photo quality and features would be next. Price should be no more than $800. I'm not interested in video capabilities."
