I'm guessing it will be for sale on 10/29 because laptopmag has a view review set to go live on the 29th. More importantly the filename of the flash file on HP's site has "102908" which to me seems like a publish date. It wouldn't be too hard to hit 6 instead of 9 on your numberpad when putting the new banner into their content management system.

Because demand has been so high, they may be increasing the price. The things have been back-ordered since launch. That said, unless they're increasing prices across the lineup I don't think these are the final prices.

"I'm looking for a wireless trackpad to use with my older (2.5 or so years old) C2D MacBook that's perpetually docked to my home theater. Something sleek, thin, not too small, made of high quality materials. Ideally, it would natively support all of (Snow) Leopard's multitouch inputs, and even more ideally, it would have a charging dock / base. The only problem is that I'm not sure that such a thing even exists. Think you can throw me a bone?"
