Are we to assume that there is no monthly fee for this? That would be well worth it but something tells me otherwise. If there is no monthly fee the cost to "rent" the movies will probably be steep compared to existing cable providers movies on demand service. Is there any news on what studios are willing to make content available? That would most certainly be a deciding factor in purchasing this device for a lot of people. If pricing is reasonable and the content is decent then this could be the next "must have" component for home theaters everywhere.
The real question is will it run Doom?
I'm looking forward to the crappy service offered by AT&T. =)
What the hell was that?
You've never seen Short Circuit and its sequel?

For Shame...

Mac and Cheese from friends was a good guess. I'd never have remembered that.
"Guess what, Dell is from Texas too! Are they dumb?"

I believe the correct answer is yes. Dell sucks.

The patent issue over the mp3 player will pan out, its a frivolous attempt (like most) to make money off of big companies that take advantage of smaller companies and people. While this is totally wrong, wasting time and money on lawsuits that will never succeed will not pay off. Instead, that time and money should be spent invested in coming up with a new idea and product that might actually have a chance at making money.
Its perfectly correct (American) English to leave out the "that". I knew exactly what they were talking about and didn't have to look back at it at all.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
