so, how do I get my other videos which play fine in quicktime, into iTunes to manage them? things like .avis which are cool if the divx codec is installed....
Bit of a cert that this device will only work in QT...however, I can play almost all divx/xvids in QT with the divx codecs installed. One problem...I don't think it does 5.1 xvids. The MacMini still looks a bit better, even if it is £400.
haha

one more who keyed into this post to moan about the mosquito ad. i'm actually closing tuaw as soon as I hear it. WAY TO KEEP YOUR READERS GUYS!
it ain't working here...tried it in the home folder and the root hd Mail libraries...run the terminal commands. nothing :-(
I have PSPWare, but the calendar syncing on Missing Sync has lured me into getting it. I even finally upgraded from 1.50!
"Remastered" my ass. A load of CDs going through a computer to make MP3s, WMAs and AACs. They were remastered AGAIN 3 years ago. What a load of garbage.
hmmm

"The Macintosh uses an experimental pointing device called a 'mouse.' There is no evidence that people want to use these things."
John C. Dvorak, San Francisco Examiner, 19-02-1984
Everyone, listen. Absolutely no-one who edits HD video on the road does it with one monitor, much less watch it full screen. Where does the timeline go? Fullscreen 1080 is pointless on a laptop editing system, there's always going to be a 23" or 30" plugged in as the main edit monitor with the laptop doing the bins/palettes etc. Any laptop screen is useless as a critical monitor in any case. NO ONE will edit & grade a HD television programme on a laptop screen.
bloody hell, can't anyone read websites? this does NOT mean OSX will run on your dell crappobox. You can get a hacked version of OSX to run, without drivers for any of your peripherals beyond a standard intel mobo's bits. And it NEVER will. Every update to OSX breaks the hack to run on non-apple kit, they will never, ever support it, ever.
#22, nope, don't live in Texas...like i said, didn't know if you were a troll or a retard. You might wanna liven up your posts with some emoticons :-D
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
