@CarpeD1em500: Do you use Firefox? With AdBlock+ and then I hid the big Top Stories block with the site CSS extension Stylish (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2108) . The Latest Posts section now starts 350px down instead of close to 900px when the ads etc display. I might eventually hide the featured posts area soon too.
Yep me too. Just got the email, sent in tip to Joystiq and already scooped. Mine will be in my grubby little hands tomorrow. Maybe this weekend I'll stream the same movie simultaneously to my 360 and PS3, you know, because I can.
I did the opposite. Had everything WPA2 for a year or 2, bought the adapter last month and had to convert entire friggin network and every device back to WPA. I don't feel like changing it again. Argh.
Oh, and this location is actually very near my old apartment and is quite large. Probably twice the size of a mall gamestop.
I assume the actual event will be out in the parking lot and on the sidewalk, not actually IN the store.

3 months for $20?? That's ALWAYS a ripoff. The full price for the 13 month card is $50, which is $3.85 per month. You paid twice that.
I'm not sure what about Twitter's constant downtime and performance issues made you so sure their databases are properly configured. In fact, from what I understand most of their scalability issues are database related.
