thanks for the goodies :-P
hardly, this is still a major ripoff. I bought a SATA2 Seagate Barracuda 1TB Hard Drive w/ 32meg cache off new egg for 140 w/ free shipping last weekend. why in gods name should I pay that same price for 10% of the capacity? This is blatant price gouging that will only stop when people stop buying the overpriced crap.
i dunno; it justs seems like more ways for them to squeeze money out of everyone. What i want to know is a. where can i get a dev kit. b. will there ever be any free content? or at least a limited trial demo to download of this stuff? c. i havent been buying vc crap at all so the memory thing hasnt hit me yet how many games have you downloaded before that becomes a problem. it's really pretty f'ing stupid. they should let you download them to any old harddrive and just encrypt it with a certificate that stays (presumably hidden) on your wii somewhere

the wii points denomation thing is absurdly stupid. just change it to what it is. 1 wii point = 1 dollar. get rid of the floating zeroes everywhere. allow purchases in 1 dollar incrmenets, and for the love of god offer a price break for buying more points... right now its 100 for $1 no matter what. why should i ever buy more than i need right now? itd be nice if to see some sort of percentage based discount. Especially since the prices are an out right ripoff right now. Why should I pay 10 bucks for a n64 game when i can go on ebay and buy the damn thing and play it on my 64 for that much? even worse for cases where I already OWN the game.

meanwhile wiiware and VC are going to suffer the same fate as the useless "get it now" crap on my verizon phone: relegation to an occasional scan. ALthough I am actually considering buying some wiiware whereas im never buying crap for my phone..
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
