You are able to save your data onto an external drive and when you upgrade to a larger HDD you can then restore everything you had, I upgraded my fat ps3 from an 80GB to 250GB and ran into no problems doing so.
Not really, it had faced a slow decline over the years, but quite recently it's been steadily growing again. Much of the core playerbase I played with when I first started is still going strong.
It's just going to be the weekly dlc we already get for RB1, it's not like they're coming out with a second set of weekly dlc just for RB2, it's cross compatible after all.

Granted I'm assuming that's the case, but it's the most logical course of action.
Better late then never. if HMX uses that money M$ paid them to further enhance the game experience, I'll gladly tough it out another few weeks, and I certainly welcome the extra time the ps3 version will get for development. As someone who works in a software product development environment, you can always use extra time to polish a product.

They're just mapped to the same coloured pads, if a skilled player knows what notes to associate to the cymbals or pads, they can choose to play more realistically.
It's getting old saying this, but what you think is "crap" other people may enjoy.
There was a follow up announcement saying that European release should be the same month as the North American one.

The set certainly does look sturdier then the RB set, but I still won't get it.

1. I've sworn off Guitar Hero :P
2. It's probably not gonna be compatible with Rock Band
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
