It kind of upsets me really. I want to know what the new PS3 can do that mine can't do now. I don't ever play my PS2 games anymore and if they improve the performance of the Cell/RSX or Memory, I'd truthfully rather have that than something I'd likely never use.
A companies stock price reflects public opinion and the opinion of those watching Sony's bottom line the most. Stock does play a role in things. It doesn't reflect the health of the company, but if Sony has a plan, let me tell you the one's with the most of their money sitting on it will know.
Actually, the stores in Eastern Columbus, OH have been out of supply for a long time.
Yeah, because a site dedicated to the 360 is going to report truthful information about the competitor...
...and the 360 fans are out in FORCE today!
Now now, there's no need to bring up the 360 game Crackdown...
Immersion did the same thing that splitfish is doing. They never approached Sony first, except with lawsuit papers. It's all about money.
In case you guys missed the common trand here, Company A wants to make money. They publish something saying they can help Company B (the one with the deep pockets) with a product that they own a patent to. They never contact Company B, but post the results to every blog site they can to drum up support and try to force Company B to cave thinking there is tremendous outcries for Company A's product. It's a form of viral marketing, and your all playing right along. If they were serious, and looking to do it for the gamer, they would have contacted Sony direct and pitched the idea, some figures and bartered a deal before you even heard about the thing. If they do this, they can now try to barter more money out of the bigger company... This has nothing to do with "the player" and everything to do with "the company".
It does look rather photoshopped...
@OrganicShadow: Yup, I'm a defender. I leave the infantry (fodder) work to those with too much time on their hands.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"For a long time I have been searching for a portable device where I can store all of my CDs in MP3 format and stream the songs wirelessly to my HiFi system. The portable device must I've tried FM transmitters, they all suck. I don't want a docking station. Any help? Thanks!" have a display so that I easily can scroll through the playlists (I don't want to use a TV or monitor). I suppose that there must also be a second device that is connected to the HiFi system that would receive the wireless streams from the portable device.
