i'm glad that Windows users are getting a nice looking alternative to some of the less than stellar programs out there.

but bob, seriously, "looks like the demise of iTunes"? uh, no. to beat iTunes, you have to beat the iPod and vise-versa. no one piece of software OR hardware will do that. now i wouldn't be in the least surprised if Windows & Mtv team up to launch a player, but they've got a long, crowded hill to climb.
I cant believe they did it surely apple would rather make its own os much better and make more money.
this doesn't impact OSX in the least. they're not SWITCHING to Windows (thank you very much Dvorak), just allowing people to boot Windows easily.
that logo is craptacular.
very slick looking, but wtf? VGA??!? it's been YEARS since i've had a VGA cabled monitor. c'mon Belkin.

i dropped serious cash on a DVI SOHO KVM from them last year only to realize AFTER i had thrown the receipt away that it didn't even support the resolution on my 23" Cinema. now i've got a 30" Cinema so i'm not holding my breath that Belkin is going to support that for a few more years.
are those the official iCrap port-o-johns out front?
i heard that this speaker has "audiophile" quality sound.
yowza, i hope that guesstimate is off. i'm dyin' for a new Tivo. right now it's the weak, analog link in my A/V setup, but $800 is pretty steep.
"I want a video iPod!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr"

well go f'in buy one.
1) this was not a "keynote". it was a media event.
2) $350 for GOOD speakers is not a rip, my center channel cost that much and it has the same amount of drivers. now whether or not these drivers warrant the price, i'll wait & see (hear).
3) i love the design, although i want a white grill. go to Best Buy & look at the boombox aisle. THOSE are ugly.

i don't understand the dock on top, though. that's great for when it's sitting on the table, but sucks for the beach or picnic.

and where the hell is this $100 case? i can't find it on the site. does it come w/ a $50 iTMS gift certificate??
yeah, the sad fact is this is probably easier to buy than a real one...
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I love my little computing companion but I often find myself missing a full sized keyboard. I have been looking at several of these portable and flexible keyboards, but I can't seem to make up my mind about which I should buy. I don't want the keyboard to be overly expensive, but I want it to be good quality. Also, how difficult is it to type on these keyboards? Thanks!"
