May 15th 2008 6:17PM The number or lumens has little to do with brightness, for brightness to be perceived there needs to be some area involved.Lumens could be thought of as visible light watts, which is to say they are a quantification of a perception of radiation in the visible range... so maybe saying a power of 2,200 lumens would be better.
