Actually with Firmware 2.01 most of my issues were fixed. 2.02 just created all the problems that everyone else was moaning about.

Now it looks like 2.1 has finally laid Sybil to rest (my iPhone's multi-personalities) Instead of sputtering 3G - no, EDGE - No - No Data - YES full bars on all like it did with 2.02 it seems to stay on one or the other. I did notice that I can lose signal all-together and not get it back unless i place a fake phone call to make the phone search for signal again. Of course I am speaking from the ONLY spots I've ever had problems testing it - at my desk at work - and at my desk at home.

I can now at least make a phone call from my desk, though your wouldn't want to, the quality of the call is pathetic. I am just glad that all the other issues of 2.02 that made my phone a paranoid schizophrenic have seemed to disappear!

@Jagster

I canceled My T-Mobile Contract (early Term) under the audacity of them raising their text messaging rates in July. I paid not one red cent for early termination either with the argument that the rates were ridiculous! (I also did not have a Text messaging plan, however, I do send/receive a few texts). (Line 3 on the Contract)

If that helps just one other person save some non-needed BS from Customer Service department - then i have done my job . . . .

And all of this has to do with, exactly what, from above. More importantly - I can't follow where this line of conversation even came from - nothing above suggests any of the precursor(s) for this line of chat?!
Same here . . . . .
When Verizon can figure out how to Cripple the Device of the functions that they can't make money on, then Verizon users will be getting one.
No Apple users aren't GREEN friedly or have you not been keeping up with the latest news?

"All of these new nettops have me intrigued. I'm looking for a small, quiet and cheap PC to replace my aging tower in my home office, and all it really needs to do is load Microsoft Office, check email and surf the web. Is there a particular nettop that's better (or a better value) than another? I know it's a rather new segment, but hopefully someone has taken a chance on one already. Thanks!"
