This is yet another sign of hope for the iPhone users out there. The back-and-forth game pulled by AT&T with the Starbucks free Wifi isn't over, and the free WiFi isn't enstated yet - but all signs point to free WiFi hotspots in Starbucks soon. And if if they're offering it for lap tops, then it's basically guarranteed that they will offer it for iPhones.

I find it very hard to believe that Gizmodo has an Apple insider that actually has access to information about the 'top secret' 3G capable iPhone 2.0.

June 9th is the date of the WWDC, and Gizmodo simply came to the conclusion that the 3G iPhone will be announced at that conference - something we've all figured long ago.

The conclusion is such - Yes: most likely the iPhone 2.0 will be announced at the June 9th WWDC. However, nothing has changed and the article is simple speculation.

Given the fact that iTunes is perhaps the number one outlet for selling music, the record labels should be kissing up to Apple, not the other way around. It's hard to believe that Apple will change the pricing on iTunes just to comply with the record lables.

But on the other side, iTunes is just the middle man, and since they are selling the record labels' property - they must be flexible.

Lately we've been seeing a trend in which Apple has been giving up former 'standards'...such as allowing the subsidation of iPhones in France, signing deals with multiple service providers in a single nation (in Europe and Asia), and raising prices on HBO shows on iTunes.

I won't be surprised to see iTunes prices rise.

"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
