try downloading the torrent one that people have been using b4 the offical 1 came out. ( sorry would find you the link but I'm on my touch atm. If its number is 2.0 5A347 then that's the 1 u want it's the one i've got. But I downloadd mine officaly. But Don't worry you can't brick ur iPod touch with a software update

I had the same problem
Wat u do is turn off ur touch after ur new apps are put on and then they shud work.
It's a ram issue dats all so if it ever happens just restart

"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
