It has nothing on the Ergodex DX-1. Look it up, you'll see what I mean.
I would die for a Grim Fandango sequel... play it forever in heaven... now that's a great afterlife ;)
I'm still looking forward to the o2 Flame, much more appealing.

*Note to self.... prepare to be underwhelmed on June 11th.
My partners father patended a similar device that would alert mining workers when big machinery was travelling near them in the mine etc. He found that the device actually made things worse as workers would rely too much on the device and wouldn't take notice of what's going on around them unless the device was telling them something was coming/close.

I hope the same doesn't happen for employers if they give their staff these, not looking out for your employees welfare until it's too late because a machine will tell them when they're in trouble.

I hate to say it, but the good old 'prevention is better than a cure' is very relevant for devices like these.
500,000 units will be shipped at launch, but what percentage of those will be the basic package and what will be premium?

The shortages at launch will be amplified depending on what package most people want, if 70% of people want the premium package and only 50% of the 500k are premium then it just makes matters worse for Sony... hope they do their number crunching or they'll have shot themselves in the foot for BOTH major continents.
Named Active Cool Fan eh?

Might get them into a little bit of trouble with the folks over at Active Cool that specialize in peltier cpu coolers. Not such a big deal but with all the lawsuits flying around it wouldn't suprise me...
Every DS lite in Australia came with a free case similar to those given out at E3, is that not the case in the US?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"All of these new nettops have me intrigued. I'm looking for a small, quiet and cheap PC to replace my aging tower in my home office, and all it really needs to do is load Microsoft Office, check email and surf the web. Is there a particular nettop that's better (or a better value) than another? I know it's a rather new segment, but hopefully someone has taken a chance on one already. Thanks!"
