I'm not sure how useful this'd be for powders, what with it being 0.1g and not 0.01g
I'm certainly no fan of much of what Microsoft has been doing for the last decade or so (I've been running linux for over 6 years as my only OS), but I am excited to see what their absolutely brilliant research division can do with this idea. We likely won't be seeing it until after Windows 7, but that will definitely give other players enough time to get the necessary infrastructures in place to help shift the computing paradigm past the stale situation it's stuck in right now. Cloud computing and always-networked mobile platforms will revolutionize how we deal with computing and especially information, and it's good to see that Microsoft sees the light.
Oh the irony! These poor things'll end up in one of those huge piles that he'll later have to help clean up. It's a wonder the minds at Pixar didn't toss in a cameo or two of his own little toys in the trash heaps Wall-E was re-packaging. (I have a feeling they might have, only to have it nixed by corporate)
And that chemical they mention might be BPA
Basketball Diaries, The Beach
I've been waiting to hear more on this one, it was at the top of my choices for a netbook, though I haven't had a chance to look through the recent onslaught of new entries. I hope it's not priced too extravagantly.
This may not bother too many people but it's certainly a step in the wrong direction (sadly a direction we're marching steadily towards)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
