i think it is going to be a robot army consisting solely of WALL-E's

definitely. controlled by a single updated MacbookPro
note: the sale doesn't start until sunday, Feb 10th.

those who don't read the comments or choose not to do their own research are free to waste their time/gas driving to toysrus or plead with their mommies/daddies to drag them to the store for a useless trip.
oops. what i mean is that i know that tiger can see the hardware (in system profiler) but the software to decode the commercial hd-dvds is NOT.
has anyone tested the xbox 360 hd-dvd drive on leopard yet? i know that Tiger will recognize the hardware, but the special software to actually decode the commercial dvds.

the good thing about hd-dvd is that there is no region coding for it.
well, santa rosa also adds support for the optional Robson cache or the hybrid harddrives with built-in flash. it would help boot up times, which is already very good for mac, but can be very long for pcs.

this should help battery life, along with the LED screens. otherwise, it seems like an incremental step up for macbook pros.

macbooks will benefit from the significantly improved integrated graphics, which supposedly can play games requiring 3-d graphics.
i don't want to pay $299. I want to pay more so wal-mart can give their employees better healthcare coverage.

i'm tired of wal-mart giving us great prices at the expense of the "little people."
i really love "the decider" as a not-so-subtle jab at prez bush. seeing jack help out liz with her personal life is kind of a odd contrast with pseudo-flirting during "black tie" episode especially when you see them bonding after the fight. they do make a perversely appropriate couple. its great.

i also really like the dona-gee (jack) vs dona-hee (eddie) vs dona-fee (the father)

a really great episode.
for one thing. i think the show moves too slowly. I mean, a show like 24 is expected to be hour by hour. so far we've had a couple 2 or 3 part story arcs that span an evening or so. So when they wrap up a story arc, we have to remember what happened 2 or 3 weeks ago?

i was really into the show at the beginning of the season, but overall, i'm more likely to skip it.

by the way, didn't the network order a full season, so would they just throw away the other episodes that they presumably have already paid for?
so this solves all of his storyline mysteries.......except who was he visiting constantly at the mental institution where he first met Bree? did i miss some detail in a previous episode?
i think this could be false. i mean, the design is straight from Toshiba Gigabeat. surely we would've heard something of this nature since the gigabeat has been out for a while.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
