Sorry, but this is a major problem with this $1.2 Billion dollar stadium. The low ideo screen is going to interfere with the hang time of long punts... This changes the game.

Also, if it hits the screen, the kicking team gets a "do-over", but the clock keeps ticking... tell me that won't be useful to run out the clock.

no other stadium in the league has this problem, it must be fixed to be fair.
Skicat, you are full of it.

I've spent years working as a dealer relation manager for one of the big three.

Warranty work? Are you implying that the companies won't support cars purchased at the closing dealers now? All the other spending you mentioned? Those funds are always doled out based on the number of cars sold... So once again, closing dealers isn't going to have much impact on what is spent.

Oh, and the idea that the dealers closing are going to be fine... Talk to some of my former clients. I can think of several that were family owned for several generations, where profitable, and now are having their franchises yanked. There is no way they are going to recover the expenses for upgrading their facilities over the last couple years (at requested by the car company).
Your tax dollars being used to put privately owned dealers out of business, and putting the sales & maintenance staffs out of work. Oh, but don't feel guilty, since those out of work people will be taking more of your tax dollars in unemployment.

The dealers do not cost the car companies money to keep open, many on the closing list are profitable, why are we forcing them out of business?

So this is another nail in the coffin of the US Auto companies. Do they have ANY cars that meet this requirement now?

Think about this... It takes 5 to 6 years to develop an all new car, so if they don't have these cars already under development, they aren't gonna make this deadline. If they need a new engine, that takes even more time to develop. Since all the american companies are in or near bankruptcy, where is all this research and development money gonna come from?
HA! The vice president is from DE, if he isn't gonna help, no one it.
I would enjoy a drobo
Edmunds.com is listing the base MSRP as $85,000
Another poser performance machine... Come on, automatic only? What exactly do they teach you, how to hold your latte, talk on the cell phone and navigate the mall parking lot?

How 'bout this:

Spin off Saturn, Hummer and Saab as a new company. Of course, with credit and spending where it is, it would die quickly... but lets pretend it survived the first couple years and came out with some new vehicles.

Saturn could provide the entry-level and appliance type vehicles, Hummer supplying trucks and saab providing the euro sedan upgrade path that the big three fail to compete with.

Sadly this would never get off the ground these days... but would be interesting if it worked.
Uma looked much better in that outfit...

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a 12- or 13-inch ultraportable that can also play modern games at a reasonable level, for less than $1,000. I know the brainiacs out there can help me out. Love the site, thanks!"
