So, MJ is a mental midget as well as a physical one... What a loser
Steve-O Busted for DRUGS????

To quote Steve Grillo:

"I am completely DUMBfounded!!"

If there's absolutely no connection to Britney, I don't see how this is news,...
The Onion called it a long time ago. Their Headline:

"Drugs win War on Drugs"

Keeping drugs illegal insures that all the money raised by them stays in the hands of the drug dealers and doesn't help our economy. Also, I think the authors numbers are simply based on current usage patterns, not factoring in all these new people that some presume will be taking up drug use.

As a legal MMJ patient, the illegal drug trade and negative attitude by the feds over something that the State of CA has approved causes my medicine to be a lot more expensive than it should. And insurance not only doesn't cover it, but gets a break on the pills and stuff that they will pay for but make it impossible for me to work. The side-effects of the War on Drugs impacts me, even though I'm legal.
First of all, NONE of the examples posted that say Imus isn't racist, he did this..." do anything to prove he is not racist. Listen to the stories from Howard Stern and Robin Quivers of the things Imus would say to black women at NBC back in the day. And this was in the halls, not for radio. He's a racist. It doesn't matter if people of every race and color said the same remarks as Imus, he still stereotyped the girls based on race. Was it meant as a joke? I don't know, I just know it wasn't funny.

I agree he never should have met with Rev Al or Jesse Jackson. Rev Al owes an apology for jumping on the Duke Lacrosse team case, and Jesse's Hymietown disproves the theory that only whites get a second chance.

I'm willing to bet that Imus WILL NOT be able to beat the ratings that Curtis and Cuby are getting which makes this move even more ponderous. He wasn't getting close to those numbers before and i bet they're paying him MORE than the guys that are doing good .
Artie may be a fat slob, but at least he's got a sense of humor. Some people just walk around with a stick up their asses hoping to find something slightly offensive.

It's a comedian talking about a drunk, drugged out celebutard. Why are people getting so serious? Lighten up already, throw a couple of chill pills down your neck.
The first Gen xB scored poorly on side impact because it was designed before most cars had SIPS. The new version has side airbags so it should do well when they do test that.

I don't own a new xB yet but I have driven a few. Although the D-pillar looks big, it doesn't create as much blind spot as people think. The original xB has a window there, but at the angle you're seeing them in the rearview, there's little to no visibility through them either. There's plenty of other window space so it doesn't block your view, IMO.

Just for perspective, I'd like to point out that although these two cars both scored "Good" on the crash test, one costs 40-50 grand and the other is $16,000.
isn't it contradictory to say that actors shouldn't vocalize their political opinions or religious beliefs while at the same time people are deciding whether to see a movie or not based on the actors political opinions or religious beliefs? It's only a bad thing when the star's views differ from your own. If he was championing a cause you believed in, you wouldn't have a problem with him spouting off about it. That's hypocritical, IMO...

It sounds to me like Mr. Cruise was preparing to fly solo in his movie career and was going to split from Paramount anyway. This was Mr. Redstone's poor attempt at saving face BEFORE people wondered why he let one of their BIGGEST moneymakers leave their company. The CBS Radio division is already in the crapper because they let the same thing happen to radio's biggest moneymaker, Howard Stern. And look at what their face-saving attempts got them in that situation...

If Mr Redstone's comments are genuine, then they need to take a good hard look at some of their other talent, cuz I'm sure they've got other people there acting funny...

Thanks, Janet Jackson, for invigorating the American version of the Taliban...
The usability depends on many factors. The idea that "it's gotta be live" doesn't work for me. Don't forget, there's more to SatRadio than music. Having my favorite talk shows recorded for listening on MY schedule has many advantages. First, there's no worrying about reception issues. Second, I can skip commercials and/or replay parts I want to hear again. Think of it as a Tivo for SatRadio. Instead of having to listen to every song a channel plays, I can skip the ones I don't like and with the S50, I can save any of them that I want for later playback.

One of the reasons I prefer the recordability to live is that I can listen to the entire Howard Stern show on my schedule. If I had to rely on the live broadcast and replays, then I have to figure out what I've heard and when there will be parts playing that I haven't heard.

iPods are great if you want to pay for every song or break the law...
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
