@harbingerofdoom Between this, Travis Henry dying and earthquakes in Nebraska, the Rapture must be near.
$50m might be a little off the mark, but $5-10m wouldn't be surprising.
GE's credit rating tells me they are going to be around for a while.
The rumor is a Q3 release on Sprint but judging from history with the Curve, they will sell out and be out of stock for four months.
At least it's not William Shatner's.
I never understood the push to computerized voting systems after the 2000 elections. I think optical scanning voting systems are the way to go. They are accurate, eliminate the "chad" problem, allow for a paper recount, don't require the person to learn how to use the ballot (as is the case with voting machines) and are cheaper than computerized systems.

I will be interested to see if the quality of the feed will hold up. When I tried to watch Green Bay/Dallas last year, (didn't have NFL network at the time), besides the fact that they showed maybe 20% of the game (clueless commentators & commercials were the other 80%), the stream kept re-buffering.

Fortunately I won't have to deal with that. I upgraded my Cable and have NFL network, so I will just watch it on my TV at home.
I think AMEX on their blue cards uses a different account number for the RFID feature. I know on mine, the last four digits of the card on RFID transactions are completely different than my physical card.
Apple will probably push a software update out that will brick the phone in as little time as it took to jailbreak it.
I wonder if MS will take a shot at Yahoo.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
