To Eric,
i use MacDrive to write documents and other stuff within Windows to the MacHD. Next time TimeMachine fires up it saves this data, too.
So for me it is the best to save the important data to the Mac Partition to back it up with TimeMachine.
Sadly you can not backup the whole windows partition with timemachine. but for me the userdata is the most important part.
