Maybe I'll win something for once?
"and seriously-- why would you use a client like Messenger when you've got iChat and Adium anyway?"

... because no other Mac client supports Live Communications Server.
Hope I win.
Seriously, if there's nothing to post about, just don't post. RSS feeds used to be a great way to get news, but now I have to filter the crap like this out of my news every day.
Ah why not. I never win these things, but I gotta try for this one.
Ok, I'll bite.
I don't understand why this is being posted everywhere when the patent is from 2005. Look at the year! It's OLD. Somebody dug this up and it's being presented as some new product.
How is that a flaw? It's not Apple or Cingular's fault that said person has bad credit.

I would love to see it sold unlocked because I would definitely pony up some extra cash to stat with T-Mobile and use the iPhone.

While visual voicemail is cool, it's a feature I could live without. There aren't any other bells and whistles you would really lose with this with the exception of push mail possibly.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
