Huh... weird. When I installed the patch, the save game that I had thought was gone forever came back! All my hard work for those level 80something characters has returned! It's a shame that it seems to be spotty yet again... I was really looking forward to playing it with people when I downloaded it.

yeah installed the update and i had installer.app installed.

the update ran fine and my phone works ok, but all my 3rd party apps and hacks are GONE. all ringtones are gone too.

if i had the chance to go back and un-update my phone, i would.

so when does owning a product NOT give me the right to do what I want with it? ...I believe the idea is that Apple will no longer SUPPORT me, not that it is illegal to do what I want with what I buy...

and I definitely think its wayyyy over 1% of people that hack their iphones... I know some completely untechnical people that use windows xp boxes from 2002 and have hacked iphones--just so they can IM. these ARE things that apple needs to worry about.
