Congrats, you win today's internet.
Venom: Guys have been doing that for YEARS at top speed runs. It's not a new trick by any stretch of the imagination.
Monte: Not necessarily. He could have meant that he could feel the car starting to lift at that speed.
Those poor, poor power locks.
I realize the power to weight ratio bit of the equation, but you also have to figure that being *too* light will result in MASSIVE amounts of wheelsping. I suppose if they have some super wide tires they could get it done, but from where I sit it doesn't look possible.
How the f*ck are they gonna get a street driven 2WD vehicle to 60 mph in 2.2 seconds? Even the 1001 HP, 4WD Veyron takes 2.8 seconds.

And 14.5 to 200?? Yeah freakin' right. Maybe if it's alcohol powered.
"... you don't urge AT&T to improve its network and terms by attempting to bring it down or violating your contract with the entity. Much the same as you don't put out a fire with a gasoline shower."

This is not analogous to putting out a fire with gasoline. This is clearing the brush away from the path of the fire, so that it can not continue to expand. Sheesh.

Personally, I'll be listening to Pandora on Friday at lunchtime... but I would have done that anyway.
Took the words from my mouth. Stretching the chassis, gutting all extra weight, and adding ridiculous amounts of crap to a production car makes this NOT the same production car.

Tuning houses rarely produce "production" cars... exceptions would be M or AMG.
"And while less than a percent may not sound like much, if you're buying a stripper 760Li ($136,600), that's like $600!"

Not gonna lie, as I read that I wondered, "That's a LOT of money to spend on a stripper... a prostitute would probably be cheaper."
I like it more than the previous one, but I really wish they would change/update the iPhone's App Store.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I commonly need to boot a system from an external disc and take a snapshot of the host system. I also then need to burn a copy of the image to a DVD. While I can do it with two separate external devices, and two power supplies, and two I/O cables, it'd be nice to find a small dual-drive enclosure. It would need to have USB, eSATA, and FireWire. Either slim-line or half-height bay for the optical burner would be fine, and space for either a 2.5- or 3.5-inch hard disc. Any ideas?"
