When did the VMAs turn into night at the Apollo with every hip hop person jumping on stage trying to take part in others moment?

Have these artists no sense of courtesy, respect or shame? When did celebrities stop having class?

Vote with your wallet & eyes. If you don't buy what their selling & stop paying attention they will eventually fade away. No more reality deals, no more music contracts, no more money.

Maybe need to add Lil Mama to my list of never buy what their selling, never support their causes. Already on the list are Kanye, the Gosselins, Paris Hilton, any Jenner, anyones whose name ends with Kardashian & Brandon Davis. Heck throw all the Davis family on the list. Complete waste of space in this world.
I wish iTunes would accept returns on my Kayne music. His label won;t see another dime of my money. I hope others speak with their wallet too.

Kanye needs to be banned from all award shows. I won;t watch another VMA if he is allowed in.

What he did to Taylor Swift was beyond immature and rude. His apology on his blog is almost a continuation of the slap in the face. I'm not even a fan of Taylor Swifts music but I feel really bad for her right now.
Wow! They took two eBooks and put them side-by-side like a real book. I wonder how much money & time these geniuses spent on this project. These innovators deserve an award.
Bob, don't worry about your Louvre photos. This device is set off by the flash of another camera. You can't take flash photography in most museums including the Louvre.

The video was lame though. 2/3 the video was a lame setup and only the last 1/3 of the video was good.
I think MS should offer two OSes. One that is an upgrade with backward compatibility like all the Windows products. Then a completely separate OS that is new and built to take advantage of all the new advances in technology today leaving out the backward compatibility of old devices that plagues Windows. Then the new MS OS will be more like Apple's offerings - shun the old and in with the new. Make it lean, fast and tailored for today without the tech of yesterday pulling it down.

I'd buy a new machine with new hardware if it was a PC based OS that cut out all the backward compatible crap that slows these machines to a crawl.

And yes, I am also a Linux user but it isn't perfect either.
After reading the email I have more respect for Bill and less respect for Microsoft. It shows his own frustration at the usability of the product. So its not like Bill has blinders on, he gets it. After 5 years Microsoft hasn't made big strides in fixing the usability. That is just a bad sign for Microsoft as a whole.
I would have agreed with you about vibrating mascara being a bad thing. But I thought that about vibrating razors and they turned out to be a great improvement. If I had to guess the minuscule vibrating will probably allow easier and more consistent coverage of the lashes. Expect the vibrations to be very small - like the vibrating razors - not enough to risk any harm as some have foolishly implied above. I'll reserve my final judgement until the product is released for all to try.
People moved from navigating on a keyboard to navigating with a mouse. Now I bet most can't even comprehend trying to navigate windows or mac os using just their keyboard.

The same will go for touch sensitive inputs. Eventually people will wonder how we did so much with only a single input mouse. New applications will be built and old applications will expand to give more control because of this new input option. The same happened when we moved from keyboard to mouse as a primary input mechanism.

Of course this wont happen overnight. I'm not saying the mouse is going away, just as the keyboard has not gone away. But new ways of performing actions is starting to emerge for the mass market. This is the first step for the mass market, having an OS capable of accepting these new inputs.
Its not a major blunder that Microsoft is using touch interface as a major windows 7 selling point. Its the same selling point Apple used with the iPod Touch and iPhone. Without the touch interface it really isn't that revolutionary.

A major blunder would be Microsoft not incorporating TS interface into Windows when we all know Apple will have a TS interface in their upcoming OS releases. People would bash Microsoft if they didn't plan for the future of computing interfaces.

There are countless possibilities for touch screen interfaces. You just need to stop thinking of your computer in the same fashion that is it today (with a keyboard in front of you, mouse to the side and a monitor vertically placed at a distance).

When the Wii came out many people didn't get it until they started playing games. Gaming enthusiasts didn't see the departure from a controller. Now people are thinking up uses beyond the Wii for the technology.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"My father-in-law is heading back to school in the spring and wants a laptop for Christmas. The only catch is their budget is around $400 and he does not want a netbook. He's not very "tech savvy" at all and doesn't need a hoss of a machine (not that $400 could get you one). We would like to get it for him as soon as possible and would love some input."
