Ok, I'll try this again:

Mitch, heres Tim O'Reilly's comment on techcrunch http://www.techcrunch.com/2008/05/25/the-importance-of-a-competitive-search-market/#comment-2325493 with a link to the seesmic archive http://www.seesmic.com/video/WXpetWJ1ZD and Mr. O'Reilly's subsequent post in response to the techcrunch article here http://radar.oreilly.com/archives/2008/05/why-search-competition-isnt-the-point.html

Nothing to refer back to???

(just read about the linking procedures here)
Sigh. I was trying to prove my point by linking to the techcrunch comments in my above comment, but looks like Jason has links disabled in the comment section here. Ok, looking for something to wipe this egg off my face.

What you're seeing with the traffic/interest drop in your blog is one of the top reasons why serial-promoters/marketers have to work as hard as they do or pay to get traffic - they concentrate on themselves and their products too much. They don't contribute to conversations, or become thought leaders in their niche.

BTW, thanks for that Wikipedia link to the Flow page. I hadn't seen that one before. It's good.
I no longer feed the facebook data hog. After seeing links a few others posted on twitter regarding the fb/retail site data sharing, I opted out... by deleting all I could and then disabling my account.

Am I scared about them sharing my information? No.

But I'm pissed that they would share my behavior on other sites with everyone. Yeah I could opt out of that sharing - I found the option on their site, but it's turned on by default.

Imagine this scenario: I'm a guy. I buy hot lingerie on a retail site. My daughter and ex-wife see that on my facebook thingy. What will they think? Paul is either a) seeing someone new, or b) a crossdresser. LOL

All joking aside though, if I put my age and relationship status on a social networking profile, I chose to let the world see that info about me.

I choose not to support a company who will share what color boxers I just bought on some other site.
Mark, I've watched that show before and Kym and yourself are the only couple I've really enjoyed watching. You two deserve it!
Ab so lute ly brilliant. Fake emails and lying to people you don't want to hire. Leveraging a lack of ethics = LOL!
Subtle.

You'll have your team back in no time.
Think Pinata ;-)
Tyler did a great job producing this video, Jason.

Ok, you and your guests dod great too ;-)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I commonly need to boot a system from an external disc and take a snapshot of the host system. I also then need to burn a copy of the image to a DVD. While I can do it with two separate external devices, and two power supplies, and two I/O cables, it'd be nice to find a small dual-drive enclosure. It would need to have USB, eSATA, and FireWire. Either slim-line or half-height bay for the optical burner would be fine, and space for either a 2.5- or 3.5-inch hard disc. Any ideas?"
