What pisses me off more than anything is that it has an ending. It's not like it's being cancelled while they still have episodes to shoot in the season. They're done and ready to go, and I want to see them! Christ, why don't they just put them on a Friday or some other throwaway night and burn them off that way?

For the bookworms out there, does S1 pretty much follow the path of the first book? I'd like to read them while we wait for S2, but I don't want to be spoiled on anything either.

And yes, this was seriously like my favorite episode of any show ever. I kept feeling like this was the finale with the amount of excitement and quality production work we were seeing. Normally they pull out all the stops for the last episode of a season, but with this show it's the norm. Dexter is easily now my #1 show of all time. It's *that* good.

Well, by the looks of it, it's definitely worth that much. Especially considering it was done in just 20 hours (not something like braces, that take years).

Yeah, PK's a hilarious character and a perfect fit for Colbert.

Yeah, this show is in my top ones of all time. Especially for the writing. It's up there with Arrested Development in that area, as much of an odd couple as that makes. They've kept up the progression of the story so well. Each week we feel like we're moving along so far, but the rabbit hole goes quite deep.

The component cables are pretty much readily available. I ordered mine on Thursday, they shipped on Saturday and should be here tomorrow or Tuesday. That's about as fast as fast can be.
