Okay all this speculation led me to search for figures...

In the last 9 months of the year.. aka January 2009 - September 2009

GM sold 1,536,903 cars/trucks in the U.S
there were a total of 7,816,829 cars/trucks sold in the U.S in the same time period

Sooo, 1,536,903 out of 7, 816, 829 is around 0.1966 or about 19.66%

Nooow, to put that into perspective for you; the second most selling automaker so far of this year is Toyota with 1,296,422 sold in the last 9 months (Jan-Sept 2009)

1,296,422 out of 7,816,829 is around 0.1658 or about 16.58%

Therefore, GM sold 3.08% more than Toyota.

You say 3.08 percent is not a lot? 3.08% is around 240, 481 more cars GM sold, that Toytoa did not.

GM will always lead in the American market, or at least it seems it will be that way for the foreseeable future.
What it looks like is that the current 16GB is going to get refereshed and Apple will release a new 32GB model... But nobody mentioned the 8GB being discontinued which leads me to believe that, the 8GB model will be the new "cheap" iPhone!

It might look like this come July:
iPhone 8GB - $99 or Prepaid* --- Current Model/3.0 OS/No New Hardware
iPhone 16GB - $199 --- New Model/3.0 OS/New Hardware
iPhone 32GB - $299 --- New Model/3.0 OS/New Hardware

*The 8GB *might* be available on prepaid to lure those prepaid users who don't want to sell their souls to a carrier or it *might* be left at $99 price-point to lure more teenyboppers.

What do you guys think? is it possible or no?
@Mike
Store display models usually see exponentially greater abuse then a personal netbook... Nobody cares enough for them to use them with care, instead some people actually TRY to break them to see how much abuse they can take.
@above
When they first started marketing the PS3, they kept pushing the fact that it was backwards compatible with Sony's & 3rd Party developers current lineups (Aka backwards compatible with PS2 & 1) whereas the 360 meant you had to keep the original Xbox to enjoy your already bought games.... somewhere down the line they said - "scratch that, F Your PS2!"

But I'm lucky, I got the original 80GB and it works fine for all my PS2 titles.
Wouldn't it be great if you could literally hang TV's though? Like you do with framed art/pictures but I think that's where we have to wait for OLED's to make it to mass-market
Twitter used correctly can help you tremendously! Twitter used incorrectly *might* make you look like a fool.
@ Templarian: Yeah.. I wasn't really into computer games at the time... I mean the first computer my family personally bought was a Pentium III in early '98 i think?... but yeah I remember those mac games and i remember playing doom once or was it unreal? i dunno but i remember thinking HOW STUPID IS THIS!! LOL and now i play computer and console games (PS3) whenever i get the chance

and @ Ryan... I was just showing how much easier it is for us young adults who harness the internet and all it's mighty powers can make good money from a young age when compared to our parents who might've took years of ladder-climbing to make similar wages/salaries! and i was not lying about my salary.. it fluctuates obviously based on business and even if i was 25% less would be 37500 - 45000 which at 20 is still unbelievable and goes to show how incredibly good the internet is for all of us!

I mean with Twitter, Facebook, Blackberries (Think pin messenger... push email...) and Gmail-like web apps (with subscription calendars), Skype and such that most smartphones now include or have add-ons for (minus Skype), networking/conferencing is easy. My dad was telling me how he used to go to conferences to network... today I conference/network on mass transpo!
lol I was born in 1989... had internet since i could remember... heck first computers I remember using were Macs with 3.5" floppy's and that frog game (jumps from lilly pad to lilly pad as you answer math questions correct) and that was in grade 4 (they magically appeared outta no where after one summer)
... then by the time i was in grade 6 we had the early iMac G3 followed by the slot loading ones by the time I entered grade 7 (kinda stupid how they bought the originals for the school and then replaced them a year/or year1/2 later for "better tech" aka slot loading disc drives
...Outrigger power mac's came into the equation in grade 8-ish, for teachers only tho
.................along with that cross-country truck driving game!! that was the Sh*T
YUP LIFE WAS GOOD... BEING BORN IN '89 ROCKS -- learned a lot from the internet now i own my own business at 20 and make a cool 50-60 (CAD) grand a year!
Coool Down Barack!

Competition is the only reasonable way that we Canadians can tackle the Rogers/Fido problem....
Hopefully things will change in a year or two when those two new start-ups actually start-up!
LOL@ Jim

I see what you did there.... And iLike-:)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
