when did having the big bowl of chocolates on her desk be removed become labeled as "intense"? That seems to be a pretty reasonable way to help lose weight, to have the free chocolates sitting out in front of everyone all day be removed. If she thought having chocolates sit out was a a great idea and all of her co-workers voted otherwise then it seems to me like she really didn't fit in at that job and it's better for everyone that she's gone.

Now if they forced her to park a quarter mile from work so she could walk off some lbs, THAT would be intense.
gas is $1.38/gal. I could care less about electric cars
"preety realistic".... in japan.

US will be lucky to see these by 2020. Last 3 phones I've had were all 1.3 mp and horrible quality at that.
I was watching this video thinking "god that's slow and it's probably $1,000+!" but then I thought, so were computers ;) Don't think I'd want the model in the video but it'll eventually get faster and cheaper and who knows, 15 years from now maybe...
i don't understand the $18,000 price.

Weighs 600lbs so it's using just a fraction of the steel and materials normal 3,000 lbs cars use, and getting 150mpg means it's probably using a $100 retail 5hp lawnmower engine for power, so exactly why should this thing cost as much as a real car when it's just a glorified recumbent bicycle?
Oh I forgot the playstation one didn't have rumble in the beginning, but the N64 had the rumble pak nearly a year before Immersion even filed for a patent

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rumble_Pak

how do you file for a patent on something that already exists and actually get awarded the patent?
How was Immersion owed money? The filed for the patent on force-feedback in 1997
"No. 970953 filed on 11/14/1997"
http://www.patentstorm.us/patents/6300936.html

which is 3 years after the playstation came out

Sony got screwed somehow and Immersion should have never won
huh? the wii and fit are everywhere now. Go to any store and just buy one.
is she anatomically correct?

What I mean is... um, you know what i mean....

Oh, and can she do dishes and help me pay rent?
"I have never driven while talking on my cell phone. I use the speaker."

That's considered a "hands-free device", and the article specifically states the "difficulty of spotting a hands-free device" which, apparently, is also illegal. So how much should you be charged? And please call your carrier and have your phone shut off immediately.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What's the best gaming laptop for under 1,500 bucks? I had my eye on the P7805u (Gateway), but it seems Best Buy has run out for the time being. Also, as a secondary question, I like the specs on brands such as iBUYPOWER and CyberPower and the like, but are they reliable? I'm a little worried about buying labels that aren't huge like Dell, Gateway, etc. Thanks!"
