In most places in the world, we expend a great deal of energy to clean and/or desalinate water to make it fresh. How does making a small amount of energy by salinating fresh water make any sense?

No, I did not buy one. I do however still have my original iPod, which I use in the car, so this unit would be out of contention. But thanks for taking the time to be an asshole anyways.

"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
