Um... us Europeans don't buy Nokias because of ignorance. We buy them because it takes most manufacturers 6+ months to bring phones that you N. Americans currently enjoy to our shores. Nokia being one of the few exceptions.
Surely they must, so many people have spent MS points getting a custom picture. Unless they refunded your points, I'd be pretty darn pissed.
Wouldn't mind seeing a sample video taken with the camera...
Could be they take your credit card details at the time of purchase, and then check if 30 days later the IMEI has still not been registered. If it hasn't, then they take the fine.

Pure speculation on my part though...
From what I can see, it's not something that blocks your cellphone reception. Rather it's something that your mobile device picks up, maybe even a regular WiFi signal, which allows the device to decide what sort of 'zone' it is in.

"I'm looking for a wireless trackpad to use with my older (2.5 or so years old) C2D MacBook that's perpetually docked to my home theater. Something sleek, thin, not too small, made of high quality materials. Ideally, it would natively support all of (Snow) Leopard's multitouch inputs, and even more ideally, it would have a charging dock / base. The only problem is that I'm not sure that such a thing even exists. Think you can throw me a bone?"
