The thing to remember most is that this exists. Anyone can come up with a revolutionary idea, but innovate people make it happen. Also, if he were some hype jackass in a black shirt trying to rip you off, he wouldn't make it open source.
no because Sony is receiving such high revenue from ps3 and accesories *cough*
^^^^Someone with some sense. I bought one because i was sick of having a touch screen phone that required me to pull out a stylus every time i wanted to use it. It has the features i need and the software looks good. The ipod software on this things blows WM on my old samsung out of the water, not to mention the browser. I don't really care what it looks like on the outside and I don't really care that apple makes it. It being half the thickness of my previous phone is definitely a bonuns, but I bought it for features and ease of use. I don't believe it is a "god product" and it is my first piece of apple equipment ever. It just bugs me that if you own an apple product you are automatically a fanboy, at least on engadget anyway.
Yes, you do.
Yeah my black iphone doesn't have any cracks but i do see tiny dents in it. It definitely couldn't have developed after I got it, so I'm assuming they're a manufacturing defect.
This actually has a 16:10 aspect ratio which, is a more common standard for monitors. Usually only TVs are 16:9.
Agreed. I have to say that the whole "FAIL" thing is already getting old as well. You may not agree with me there yet, but you will.
God damnit i hate this commenting system, sorry for the double.
Maybe it would cost less if the pretty packaging were cut out of the manufacturing process.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"For a long time I have been searching for a portable device where I can store all of my CDs in MP3 format and stream the songs wirelessly to my HiFi system. The portable device must I've tried FM transmitters, they all suck. I don't want a docking station. Any help? Thanks!" have a display so that I easily can scroll through the playlists (I don't want to use a TV or monitor). I suppose that there must also be a second device that is connected to the HiFi system that would receive the wireless streams from the portable device.
