regular cat5 / cat5e will do too in most cases for home use.
What I don't get is how web hosting companies give you 2tb of bandwidth and a shared 10mb or 100mb pipe up/down for a few bucks. Same thing applies to them as ISP's, most people will never even come close to busting their cap. But its there... ISP's need to quit nickle and diming. They have way more clients than web hosts, and on top of that, they're clients for life. How can that not drive the price down. bs bs bs.
technologyreview had an article about it and i'm pretty sure it stated it used less power than just fans
This is bad news... My recent quad core has 2 x 8800 GT OC2's in it..
Crap...
couldn't help but laugh @ electric cucumber..

interesting concept.. not quite accessible to those who don't want to look too futuristic.
It's definitely not about size. Its about speed.

EVE Online uses those. They have some ramsan400's.

I'm a Windows user and i'll be the first to complain about vista. A very large percentage of businesses haven't gone with it either because its simply not ready.

This thread is so full of stupid its not even funny
you've got some pretty urgent urges there.. lol
Whats sad about this is not that they're offering it. Its the fact that they're able to, that theres a market for such insanity. Technology is everywhere and some people seem to be scared to explore, experiment, etc. I don't know if its the fear of breaking things or just the complete disconnect from it or simply not giving a rats ass but its sad.

Bluetooth might not be the easiest technology to use but its not rocket science either.
At that price, you can be SURE i'm not going to waste 3 years locked in a shitty over priced contract with Rogers. I'll stick with my iPod touch and a cellphone from Telus.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
