also amazon has a track record of reaching in end users devices without their permission to delete books. I don't want an e-reader with that technology.
mine's in Singapore according to fedex
I sent a support message to them but I have not heard back yet..... hopefully the zii will get out of the vaporware stage soon
I'm embarrassed that you are a fellow Canadian. In Manitoba its "MTS" not Bell or Telus, and the phones work just fine with bluetooth connectivity. Are you capable of making a post without using the word fail?
The apple fanboys are going crazy on this one, but that will never change.

well speaking of the Zii Egg, anyone else pre-order the dev unit? I cant wait to work on this thing.
in Manitoba the majority of coverage is CDMA so we get a terrible selection of phones, I could connect to my phone with bluetooth and use this as a phone instead, sure it means carrying 2 devices around, but like I said all the phones are shit so that is a given. and then you can run whatever app you want without the mobile companies shitting on you.
Nice commentary on the Zii, your confusion matches my views. I was listening just to hear if there was any new info on it.
I really hope it really slaps apple in the face (not an apple hater per say, but their app store BS shouldn't exist). Then the whole 1080p/camera's/android pushes the envelope. Imagine hooking this up to a monitor, and a usb kb/mouse (amusing the usb can be used as an input), all the sudden its a 200-400$ computer that can do 1080p video, web browsing etc...
I hope he wins
slightly? 1080p video is above what an ipod/netbook can do, you need a dual core or expanded graphics to come close to that. it has 2 camera's, its what the ipod should have been. gps.... ya thats a huge deal for me, why buy a dedicated gps when this thing does it. I think i'll setup a company name just to order one, its a great deal even at 400$
since this is android and open source, could any company make a standard style game controller that kind of snaps to the body of this thing?

you could have shoulder buttons and dual analog sticks etc....
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
