@david

Yes it is technically part of the carbon cycle on a timescale of millions of years. Too bad humans don't live that long. If you were to jump into a 80C (~176F) tub of water, would you just be like: "whatever it'll cool off eventually"? (yes my analogy is horrible)

@delow24

As for the point of carbon tax is to "correct" the cost of fossil fuels. When paying for gas the cost to the environment is not taken into account. Hopefully those taxes would go towards preventative measures, while also encouraging some conservation.

Of course the whole thing could be a conspiracy of elite scientists and democrat politicians, to enslave us! They have managed to fool the rest of the world! But not Americans! They know it's communist conspiracy!

ps. sorry for the sweeping generalization, hugs and kisses from Canada :)
It is a good movie to watch as long as you research the facts after. If you research the facts then then you'll see what a bunch of crap it is. Though I admit they almost had me at the whole CO2 lags warming part (which is true!), until i looked up the reasons behind it.

Oh and they said volcanoes emit more CO2 then man. OOPS! looks like the director/writer or whatever didn't do any research and just put in any skeptical crap he could find.
I thought that's what the percentages are for...
So how much is the average person worth? If you don't have your own house then your worth might be pretty much just the value of the car you have. Or even negative if you have an outstanding loan on it!
of the 21,391,570,321 RROD jokes on the internet there's 3 funny ones. I mean come on put a little effort into it please, that way you might not come off as a complete loser fanboy.
The grasshopper can since it's over-clocked.......

Still figured you'd at least give him a pat on the back for not dumping his car till the 1 million mark.
This guy should be your hero, vintage! Instead you ridicule him. tsk tsk
Actually putting your car in neutral while going downhill doesn't save you gas. It's a myth. It would seem to be the case because your car runs at lower RPM, but that is misleading. When your car is traveling downhill in gear then it consumes virtually no gasoline because the rate of fuel injection is governed by the load the engine feels. The RPM stays high because the the engine is still turning at the same rate, but is only pumping air through the cylinders. When your car is in neutral gas is still being injected to keep your engine running, which is considerably more than when it's in gear.
Or perhaps 1 crumbling would create a void that would need to be filled, which would probably work out of all the remaining auto makers.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm pretty much a complete noob when it comes to camera stuff. My wife loves to take pictures, though. So much so that she literally wore out her first point and shoot camera, and the Kodak Z712 I bought for her less than two years ago is starting to act up as well. To compound the matter, we are expecting our first born sometime next year. I fear the Kodak just isn't going to cut it any longer. What would be the best starter DSLR to get? She hates missing photo opportunities due to camera 'lag' so speed would definitely be at the top of the list. Photo quality and features would be next. Price should be no more than $800. I'm not interested in video capabilities."
