While I never owned one myself, I would grant the PS2 helped revolutionize media in the living room. And it sold (sells) a bajillion units... no one is questioning that. It is hard to say the PS2 doesn't deserve a spot on the list, but don't overlook the things the 360 did to define the decade. Some of the biggest things you probably take for granted now on the PS3 or Wii are only available because of the Xbox 360. I will highlight three...

Console DLC (including title updates/bug fixes, expansions, demos, Arcade games, and 1000 songs for Rock Band)
Gamertags (the first time your persona was truly universal across all the games you played, the ability to follow friends)
Achievements (goes without explaining when you think of all the achievement whores)
I have a feeling GD:RB will end up like a big track pack... I would only plan on buying it just for the export. It is just like the AC/DC disc, or even the Classic/Metal/Country packs, and to some extent Lego RB. You CAN play those game discs separately, but many people just bought them to get the new songs into the RB1 or RB2 setlists.
You know it is sad when you actually WANT to use the Polaroid name. They must be aiming at the QVC crowd.
@DarkElfa

... well, they were pretty innovative products, love the company or not, and they changed music/phones/etc forever. We all know they weren't the first, or even the best, at creating media players or smartphones, but you aren't giving them any credit. No one will look at another MP3, smartphone, etc. the same way again...

You just sound like a lame iHater.
@gerrrg

The point of including the ELPH was it was a major player in making EVERYONE switch from film cameras to digital, not just high-end users. As great as SLRs (both film back in the day, or digital now), Joe Consumer buys a cheap Point-and-Shoot instead. The ELPH pushed people into the digital age, so I think (although it isn't as nice as the DSLRs) it deserves to make the list.
I bet most people wanting a quilt like that would need their mom to make one, instead of a spouse... that being said, my wife made me a quilt with my college football team logos, so I can't really criticize too much.
... and hasn't this been done about 1000 times before?
I agree with Rick... BTT adds a ton of the features the Magic Mouse should have shipped with out of the box.
Normally TÚAW is good enough to just copy articles from ArsTechnica or MacRumors, or occasionally rehashing their big brother Engadget's posts... but now they are copying themselves.

The question remains, if these articles see each other will they simply collapse and think it was just a dream or will it create a paradox and destroy the universe?

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What's the best gaming laptop for under 1,500 bucks? I had my eye on the P7805u (Gateway), but it seems Best Buy has run out for the time being. Also, as a secondary question, I like the specs on brands such as iBUYPOWER and CyberPower and the like, but are they reliable? I'm a little worried about buying labels that aren't huge like Dell, Gateway, etc. Thanks!"
