Furthermore, a boss kill seems a lot more rewardng when it follows 2 nights of solid wipes, rather than having him fall over dead after an hour of halfhearted attempts.
To start, it will be sort of nice to be able to get back to destroying ontent again, but I have to admit, as a raid leader, I was eally enjoying the challenge.
Last year a friend and I created level 1 tauren alts, and ran them all the way to Stormwind to drown in the canals. Their names:

DrownedBeef
MeatIsMooder
Seems like Blizzard is trying to get the servers up, but their authentication servers can't handle 5-6 million people all trying to log in at once.
I personally think this all depends on how easily you can do Ulduar 25 in a PuG. If it's as easy as Naxx25, then I don't think 25s will be abandoned at all. I myself am in a casual 10 man raiding guild, who as a guild has never stepped foot in a 25 man, but from PuGs alone, I have 4/5 of my t7.5 and I'm about 2 items away from the "Epic" achievement.

If you can do Ulduar in a PuG, then you wont see a change in the number of people doing raids, and WotLK raiding will stay generally the same. If on the other hand, we go back to more difficult raid content, we'll see a few things: A) The collapse of THOUSANDS of casual raiding guilds across all servers, B) The formation of stronger "core raiding guilds" and finally, C) an end-game which is no longer accessible to players without massive amounts of time for the game.
EDIT: It was meant to say "Does that stop me from topping meters?" not "that does".

:P
Firstly, I think you're looking too deeply into this. You mentioned all the things that other classes can do versus what we can do, but you also need o remember, we also offer many of the same buffs. Who cares if we cant rez or heal? That's not what we're in the group for. We're there to rip the face off the boss, and that's exactly what we're good at. My gear is mediocre at best (armory Rugar, Smolderthorn Alliance), but that does stop me from topping meters in Naxx25. I have yet to meet a rogue that can beat me on the meters (unless the significantly out-gear me), and I have a damned good time playing.

The important thing to remember is, if you enjoy what you're doing that's all that really matters. Personally, I find fury warrior playstyle is exactly what I want out of the game, so that's what I'm going to stick with.
I think non-prot warriors need some way to mitigate magic damage for PVP.
I've been playing since about a month after vanilla's release, and here's some of the most notable things (in my mind) that the "children of Wrath" never had to deal with.

-Battlegrounds used to be single server only. You got to know everyong you fought against, because they would be in the next BG.. and the next one.. and the next one.

-There were no summoning stones. Instance stones used to put you into an auto "looking for group".

-Leveling took time. A LOT of it. There was always a ton of others that were your level, so there was instance runs for everyone.

-The smallest raids were 20 mans, and the larger ones were 40 mans. Imagine trying to get 40 people dedicated for a 7 hour long MC crawl. Every 2 nights.

-Epics were epic. In the begginning, there were only a handful of epic items. Yes, that means that even the best, most hardcore players were in blues.

-There was no resiliance. When you went into a BG, everybody was just as squishy as anybody else, and it was all about killing your opponant before they killed you.

-Druid's healed. That's all they did.

-Shaman's we're Horde only, and paladin's were Alliance only. It was great fun seeing a shaman item drop for your Alliance raid.

-Everytime you killed an NPC of the opposite faction that was considered a "civilian" you gained a dishonorable kill, which made city raids almost suicidal. Also, honor was reset every week, and only used to gain ranks. It could not be spent.

-Nothing was free. To gain anything; items, ranks, ect, you had to work for it through hours and hours of grinding and farming.

But one of the most notable similarities between vanilla and Wrath: Murlocs are still evil. Pure evil.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"For a long time I have been searching for a portable device where I can store all of my CDs in MP3 format and stream the songs wirelessly to my HiFi system. The portable device must I've tried FM transmitters, they all suck. I don't want a docking station. Any help? Thanks!" have a display so that I easily can scroll through the playlists (I don't want to use a TV or monitor). I suppose that there must also be a second device that is connected to the HiFi system that would receive the wireless streams from the portable device.
