"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
Do you like your Star Trek movies riddled with Beastie Boys songs and Nokia product placements?
------
Are you kidding me? One scene and you guys call it "riddled?" That's just funny guys. Did you watch the movie? I've seen it three times: there is only one scene with Nokia and one scene with the Beastie Boys.
As a lifetime Trekkie, I love this stuff. Just because WWIII happened does not mean society collapsed. Clearly it had an effect on the United States. However, California still exists, as there's a flag of California in the big meeting room at Starfleet Academy. I never bought the idea that private companies went away in the future. I think a more logical route is that there are many private-public partnerships.
Also, take note, the companies mentioned, Budwieser and Nokia aren't American companies (anymore).
